Morgan Le Fay is the sixth unique design on the back of the Myths and Legends series. She also joins King Arthur and Merlin as one of three in the second subset of this series that focuses on the Arthurian legend. On this coin you see Morgan Le Fay (also called Morgana), the daughter of Igraine and Gorlois and half-sister of King Arthur. She was a powerful fairy, mage, sorceress (or witch) in Arthurian legend. Morgana is sometimes presented as an evil witch, but she also has a good side. Initially, the oldest folktales shed light on that side, as a healer, savior and protector of the righteous King Arthur. Yet she was portrayed as an enemy of Arthur in almost all stories. Some stories say that Morgana was a student of Merlin, who taught her to use magic in a good way.

Label information
Investment score: A-label Our top 100 products More information Less information

Investment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.

Investment-score: B-label Common bullion coins and bars More information Less information

Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.
