He brought with her the heraldry of the region, including an ancient tribe of a white horse on a red background. The white horse is an animal with a long history, deeply rooted in the past of Germany and that of the medieval ancestors of George I.

The front of the silver coin depicts the white horse of Hanover. The shield depicted is divided into four parts. The first part shows the fleur-de-lis of France, the second shows the Irish harp, the third shows the lion of Scotland and the leopards of England, and the last quarter shows the arms of Hanover.
Reverse
The reverse of the coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II. Around it are inscriptions of the face value, the queen's name and the Latin abbreviation for "in God's grace, queen".
