The coin has a diameter of 38.5 millimeters, a thickness of 2.7 millimeters and a face value of $5 in its country of origin (Tokelau). The worldwide mintage is limited to 90,000 pieces
Design of the silver icon Vincent van Gogh coin
Obverse
The obverse features Vincent van Gogh's portrait and an inscription of the word ICON. The entire design consists of striking graphic lines and gives the coin a unique look.
Reverse
The reverse shows the portrait of King Charles III. Around it are the inscriptions CHARLES III - the king's name, the year and country of issue, the face value and the weight, metal type and purity.
