This 1 troy ounce silver Mamenchisaurus coin is part of the Dinosaurs in Asia series. The coin features a beautiful egg-shaped design of the impressive dinosaur: the Mamenchisaurus. 
 
The Mamenchisaurus is a genus of extinct plant-eating sauropod dinosaurs, belonging to the Eusauropoda, which lived during the Late Jurassic in the area of present-day China. The coin contains 1 troy ounce, or 31.103 grams, of 99.9% pure silver and is proof grade. This is the highest quality possible for coins.
 
Included are a matching gift box with a beautiful design of a colored Mamenchisaurus on the front of the box. Also included with the coin is the certificate of authenticity. Only 3,000 pieces were made worldwide.

Design of the Mamenchisaurus silver coin

The obverse of this coin features a Mamenchisaurus, an impressive dinosaur. The otherwise clean design highlights this dinosaur with its long neck. A gold-coloured skeleton of the Mamenchisaurus can be found in the background. Also added are the inscriptions with the silver content "Ag 999 1 oz", the name of the dinosaur "MAMENCHISAURUS", the year of issue “2022” and the name of the series "Dinosaur in Asia". 
 
The reverse of this coin features a small effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with around her: her name “ELIZABETH II”, the face value of the coin “2 dollars” and country of origin “Samoa”. Most of the space on the back is reserved for the various dinosaurs in this series. In this case, the Mamenchisaurus is gold-coloured, showing which dinosaur is highlighted on this coin.
