This silver coin has a diameter of 36.15 millimeters and comes in a presentation box along with the certificate of authenticity. The worldwide mintage is limited to 7,000 pieces.
Design silver Canada Peace coin
The obverse depicts the Lady of Peace with a wreath of maple leaves and olive branches. Also on the obverse are the inscriptions 2024 - the year of issue, PAX - the Latin word for peace and A MARI USQUE AD MARE - the Latin text for "from sea to sea" a Latin phrase from the Vulgate (Psalm 72, vs. 8).On the reverse is the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Around it are the inscriptions DOLLAR - the face value of the coin, ELIZABETH II - the name of the queen, CANADA - the country of issue and D. G. REGINA - the Latin abbreviation for 'in God's grace, queen'.
