It is the sixth edition of the Australian Emu series silver coin produced by the Perth Mint.On the obverse you see Australia's largest bird, the emu. The Australian emu cannot fly, but its powerful legs can propel itself across dry plains at speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour. Emus' primitive feathers, which resemble coarse hair, help them survive the extreme temperature swings that can be experienced in the Australian outback.

On the front you can see the design of the emu, the back shows the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial design.
