Gold Wiener Philharmoniker coins 2024
The gold Wiener Philharmoniker coins are issued by the Münze Österreich in Vienna and have been a mainstay for years. Among all the gold coins, the Wiener Philharmoniker is one of the most popular coins in the world. The Wiener Philharmoniker coin is particularly popular in Germany. This gold coin is struck in 1 troy ounce (31.103 grams) of pure gold (99.99%). The coins were introduced in 1989, and the Wiener Philharmoniker coins have long been the only coins in Europe to be traded as bullion coin and also have the status of legal tender.
We supply the coins from the year 2024. These are newly minted coins in good condition. The coins are standard packaged per 10 in a tube from the mint itself, for smaller purchases the coins are supplied in individual packaging.
The design of these gold coins was created by Thomas Pesendorfer. The gold Wiener Philharmoniker has had the same design since 1989 and only the year is adjusted annually. With the gold variant, the edge of the coin is milled (the silver variant has a smooth edge) and the gold Wiener Philharmoniker is a coin that is thinner than most other gold troy ounce coins. Therefore, the diameter of 37 mm is also larger than most gold coins.

Label informationInvestment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.
Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.
Investment score: A C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
