Information

3 troy ounce Lady Godiva 2020 coin

The Lady Godiva coin is dedicated to the well-known painting by John Collier of the Anglo-Saxon noble lady. Lady Godiva is known for the legend in which she rode naked through the streets of Coventry to protest against the high taxes. These were imposed by her husband, Count Leofric. The Lady Godiva coin has an impressive weight of 3 troy ounces of pure silver (99.9%). The diameter of the coin is 65 mm. the special thing about the Lady Godiva coin is that it is made in the style of a puzzle. This makes it look like it consists of small puzzle pieces when it is actually a coin. This in combination with the antique finish makes the coin stand out.

The Lady Godiva coin has a very limited mintage of only 340 pieces. This makes the beautiful coin very rare

Obverse

The obverse of the Lady Godiva coin shows the noble lady during a naked protest. The image is from the well-known painting by John Collier. The design makes it seem as if the coin consists of all puzzle pieces. However, this is not really the case. 1 piece is missing, which can be found on the reverse of the coin. The colors that can be seen make the coin striking. The Lady Godiva coin has a very impressive appearance and is a real asset.

Label information
Investment score: A-label Our top 100 products More information Less information

Investment score: An A-label means that this is one of our most common products. When purchasing physical precious metals, we advise looking at both the lowest price per gram and the lowest spread. The spread indicates the difference between the buying and selling price. An A-label signifies that this is a favorable choice when buying gold and silver.

Investment-score: B-label Common bullion coins and bars More information Less information

Investment score: A B-label means that this is a common coin or bar, which is widely tradable worldwide. However, a product with this label is more expensive than a product with an A-label, so as an investment in physical gold and silver, this product is not the most cost-effective choice.

Investment-score: C-label Collectibles More information Less information

Investment score: A C-label means that this is a less favorable investment choice compared to a product with a higher investment score. Products with a C-label are considered collectibles.
